Why am I able to view the inertial and parametric data for my flight in the Playback Utility, but cannot hear the audio or view the imagery?

If you are able to view inertial and parametric data of a flight but cannot see the imagery or hear the audio for the flight, the imagery and audio was recorded over by the recorder.

Regardless of size, the SD card stores 200 hours of inertial data, but the amount of video data depends on your SD card size and recorder.

Vision 1000

  • 16 GB SD card: Retains the last 4 hours or 10 power cycles’ worth of image and audio data.
  • 32 GB SD card: Retains the last 8 hours or 10 power cycles’ worth of image and audio data.

AIRS-400

  • 128 GB SD card: Retains 10 hours of video data

If inertial/parametric data is available for a flight but imagery and audio are not, a black screen will replace where the imagery is typically shown in the Playback Utility.
